[edit] Adam Seabrook Bennett: Biographical InformationAdam Seabrook Bennett was the son of Ezekiel Bennett and Lula Davis Bennett. He was the grandson of Adam Bennett, the enslaved overseer at Magnolia Plantation on the Ashley River in Charleston, South Carolina. Adam was born May 9, 1919 at Magnolia Plantation. He served in the US Army from 1941-1945. Adam married Georgiana Nesbitt Edwards June 28, 1953. He was a member of the Springfield Baptist Church until 1973, when he moved his membership to Olive Branch Baptist Church. There he worked with the Sunday School Board Superintendent and served on the Board of Deacons. He died October 2, 1986. [edit] Family Group Sheet
