From the Kentucky Post Times-Star Obituaries; Tuesday, November 21, 1961:

Mrs. Ada Simpson Services for Mrs. Ada Simpson, 64, of 171 Latonia Terrace, Covington, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Erschell Funeral Home, Newport. Burial will be in Short Branch Cemetery, Pendleton County.

Mrs. Simpson died Sunday at Speers Hospital.

She was a member of the Ashland Avenue Baptist Church, Covington.

Mrs. Simpson leaves her husband, Allie; four stepsons, Cecil, South Fort Mitchell; Raymond, Florence; Emmitt, U.S. Army, Pennsylvania; Eugene, Indianapolis; four stepdaughters, Leoda and Louise, Indianapolis; Shirley, Detroit; and Fay, Idaho; a step-grandson, Robert E. Coverston, with the Air Force in Spain; a sister, Mrs. Esther Webb, Newport; two brothers, Bryant McCarty, Chicago, and R.C. McCarty, Gary, Ind., and her stepmother, Mrs. Emma McCarty, Redlands, Cal.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
