    Abraham Mace was on the payroll of Capt. Daniel Warner's (1st) Company 17 July 1775 to 31 December 1775 and was stationed at Gloucester for the defence of the seacoast. He had taken the place of Peter Lurvey who was killed in action. They were in Newburyport at the time of the 1790 census.
