"In regard to Abraham Joslin, the following is found in the Middlesex County, Mass. Court Files: 1690. 'Whereas Abraham Joslyn dyed not long since at sea of from ye Coast of Virginia in ye Ship ye Good Fame of New York, but before his decease made a will the w'ch hath beene appou'd by ye oath of Two persons who are witnesses therevnto wherein he disposethof his estate in Nashawage & elsewhere in his Maj'ties Collony of the Massachusetts, vnto his wife & children ... New York, 17 April, 1670"
