1. 8b. 1667. [1 Oct 1667] Mary Browne the relict widow of Abraham Browne of Watertowne, deceased, is granted administration on the estate of her husband, in behalf of her selfe and two children, Abraham and Lidea Browne, and attested to this Inventory on her oath.

2 Apr 1678: Lidea Browne daughter of Abraham Browne of Watertowne deceased, appearing in Court made choyc of Tho: flegg for her guardian,and the Court allowed thereof.

1 Apr 1679: Petition of Thomas Fleg Jnr: of Watertowne, guardian to Lidya Browne humbly Sheweth That abraham Browne Ser: late of Watertowne Deceased, and dyed intestate and left two Children viz. Abraham aged about 1 yeare, and Lyda aged about 4 yeeres: the goods he left was (beside land) 56 pounds; administration was granted to his widdow, She so remayned widow abought one yeere, and then marryed to Samuel Rice; and lived with him about 7 yeeres, and then she and her son abrahma dyed; and Lidya was with her mother while widdow and after her 2d marryage about 5 yeeres; and with your petitioner Lydia Browne hath lived about 5 yeeres....
