  4.   Note: the agreement cited by Vinton shows Abigail married Mr. Hill, and her status as a widow suggests it was Samuel Hill 3rd, who had a wife Abigail, d. 1748, and his estate was split 1/3 to widow, 2/3 to only daughter Abigail (Hill) Kidder, b. 1727. But it seems questionable whether the first marriage occurred: the marriage record to Nathaniel Dunton says Abigail Richardson is "of Charlestown" whereas this Abigail was "of Billerica", she would be very young (15) to marry, and allegedly marrying a man age 60 as his third wife, no children are found to confirm it, and no marriage record to Samuel Hill is found to confirm her name was Dunton versus Richardson at time of marriage (Source:Hazen, Henry Allen. History of Billerica, Massachusetts : With a Genealogical Register, p. 70, gives that marriage date 20 Nov 1727, but the VRs show that is exactly the date of their daughters' birth, so this appears to be an error by Hazen). More research is needed to explain why it is thought this is the Abigail who married Nathaniel Dunton.
