"'Abigayl Phelps' died at Windsor in the latter part of 1648 [Grant 81]. She was not referred to as either daughter or wife of a Phelps male, as were many other women, so we cannot tell whether she belongs with this family, or the family of William Phelps, or perhaps with neither."
