  3. ↑ The Kanawha Co., death records record an A. R. Clifton, male, with parents Royal and Hannah Garrett. No other research show an 'A. R. Garrett' as a son of Royal and Hannah, and no other research has found a son of Royal and Hannah who wound up in Kanawha Co. I believe this to have been an error by the transcriber/clerk who recorded the information into the book.
