    Funeral services were held Sunday for the late Aart De Bruyn of Lynden, who passed away Saturday. Services were held at Knapp's Undertaking Parlors. Mr. De Bruyn was born in the Netherlands Feb. 10, 1851. He emigrated from the Netherlands to the state of Michigan in the spring of 1900, and moved from there to Lynden in the spring of 1914. Besides his widow, he leaves six sons - James A., Peter J., Arthur, Joe, and Bert, and two grandchildren, Arthur and Gertrude De Bruyn.
