Isaac Houston, b. 1796 Washington County, PA. He maintained a homestead in Buffalo Township all his married life. son of James Houston - This Isaac also was "of Canton Township" when he married Nancy Ashbaugh (also Ashbrook). (Washington Reporter notice).

The only James H(o)uston of Canton Township at the time, was also a pension recipient (W. 2,803). In his pension packet, he stated he was born in 1760 in Cumberland County, PA per his father's bible. His widow, Anne Houston, lived in Buffalo Township following James' decease. - "A" James Huston is known to have owned land very near several of the officers that the James Huston mentioned serving in his pension packet. He is known to have sold the land. This land was the land near William (of Catfish Camp) and John. [Who is John Huston near Catfish Camp? Q 07:52, 14 April 2010 (EDT)]
