__________________________ [edit] Note 1Source:Gaston, 1911:483 James Huston, who was born at Wilmington, Delaware, January 29, 1721, and was baptized at the Old Swedes church on the 12th of February following. In that church appears the record of his baptism and of his marriage, the latter event occurring December 3, 1754. He served with Captain Thomas Laird's company of Cumberland county, Pennsylvania, during the Revolutionary war, and his son, Alexander Huston, was born in Mifflin county, Pennsylvania, in 1778, removing to Kentucky about 1791 and afterward becoming a resident of Indiana, where he served as a member of the constitutional convention that framed the organic law of that state.
