Julia Ann Stuck, Birthplace.

From several GEDCOMS available in Rootsweb.Com, Julia Ann's father was Michael Stuck, her paternal Grandfather was Johan Matthias Stock(Stuck), and that one of Michael's brothers was John Stuck. These show Michael Stuck born 27 October 1777 in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania.

Three deeds found in the Seneca County New York deed records show that Michael Stock(Stuck), Matthias Stock(Stuck), and John Stock(Stuck) all purchased 33 1/3 acres in Fayette Township, Seneca County, New York from Nehemiah Beach Beardslee and Everitt Beardslee Executors for John Beardslee. All three deeds were executed on 4 May 1809 and all were recorded on 8 June 1809 at four O'Clock P.M. (Liber C, Pages 437-439 and 442-443.) Thus it is probable that Michael Stuck with his father and brother removed their families from Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania to Fayette Township, Seneca County, New York in 1809. Since Julia Ann was born in 1805, it is most probable that she was born while the family was in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania.

We also note that the 1850 and 1860 U.S. Census, and the 1894 Michigan State Census show that Julia Ann was born in Pensylvania.
