I am searching for information about Lulu M Downing, born 12/2,1867. She had a brother A.U.Downing. Both were born in Waverly Ohio. I have a marriage certificate for her and Andrew Green (from Altoona, PA) being married 6/29/1904, in Wilkinsburg, PA. Prior to her marriage she was a teacher at the Edgewood Mute School. Her brother was a professor and also lived in Wilkinsburg, PA. Lulu and Andrew had no children. He died in 1909 and I have no information as to what happened to her or her brother.
Abisha U Downing is listed in the 1910 census in Wilkinsburg PA with his wife Estells S and son Harold S.(Ancestry.com). I have Abishia (sp change) Downing and Lula Downing listed as children with Eddie Downing on the 1880 Census.
I am wondering if the Lula and Lulu are the same person and if you have any additional info on her or this family. Any suggested contacts as to where I can find out about them?
