Citation
From a mimeograph of typed notes, originally in possession of a grandson, now deceased, of Eldridge McIntire of Orange County, Virginia (Person:Eldridge McIntire (1)). The compiler of the mimeographed portion is not known, but it very well could have been the said grandson. Handwritten notes added to the mimeographed information (shown here in italics) were in the grandson's handwriting, and therefore date from before 1962. The latest date on the sheet is 1928, so it was compiled sometime between those dates. The completeness of the birth records suggests that the birth data came from a family Bible, whereas the incompleteness of the names of the spouses suggest that portion was filled in by memory.
