[LOTW #21805, 24 Dec 1783] [a/o = assignee of ; LOTW = Land Office Treasury Warrant] [edit] TranscriptThomas Hall, 2000 acres, Harrison Edmund Randolph Esquire Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia to all to whom these Presents shall come Greeting Know ye that by virtue and in Consideration of Landoffice Treasury Warrant Number twenty one thousand eight hundred and five issued the twenty fourth day of December one thousand seven Hundred and eighty three there is granted by the said Commonwealth unto Thomas Hall assignee of Sambel [?] Wilson [?] assignee of Thomas Laidley assignee of Henry Banks who was assignee of David Anderson Certain tractor Parsel of land Containing two thousand acres by survey bearing date the Sixth day of February one Thousand seven Hundred and eighty five lying and being in the County of Harrison in the forks of ten mile Creek and bounded as floweth Lewis Beginning at a hickory in aline of said Laidley Survey N. 14 and ?ing thence South thirty three degrees West Seven Hundred and forty poles to a beech North fifty degrees West four hundred and thirty three Poles to ? ash North thirty three degrees East seven Hundred and forty Poles to a Sugar tree South fifty degrees East four Hundred and thirty three Poles to the beginning with the apportances to have and to hold the said tractor Parcel of land with its appentendices to the said Thomas Hall and his Heirs for ever In witness whereof the said Edmund Randolph Esquire Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia hath hereunto set his Hand and caused the lesser Seal of the said Commonwealth to be affixed at Richmond on the Ninth day of July in the year of our Lord one Thousand Seven Hundred and eighty eighty and of the Commonwealth the Thirteenth.
