Company was in the engagement with the enemy before Murfreesboro, Tennessee January 2, 1863. This Company was in the charge of Breckenridges Division Jan 2, 1863 on Stone River before Murfreesboro. W. Pollard was on the list of Killed, Wounded, Missing, in Hansons Brigade before January 3, 1863. There commenced the retreat on the morning of January 4, 1863 and the Company began a march to Alisona of 46 miles, then from Alisona to Tullahoma of 8 miles. Then from Tullahoma to Manchester of 12 miles. (W. B. Pollard had been captured and was no longer with his Company).
