The Eighth Presbyterian, Christopher Street, Manhattan, NY was built in 1821 in a "moderated Federal style." From 1842 - 1856 it was the St. Mathew Protestant Episcopal Church. In 1858 it became St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
