Den twintigsten Januari negentienhonderd en twee, verscheen voor mij, Ambtenaar van den Burgerlijken Stand der gemeente Ferwerderadeel: Johannes Swart, oud, vier en twintig jaren, van beroep arbeider, wonende Ferwerd, die aangifte deed, dat den negentienden Januari dezes jaars, des namiddags te zeven uur, te Ferwerd, een kind is geboren van het mannelijk geslacht, aan hetwelk de voornaam Gerrit gegeven zal worden; van welk kind bevallen is Minke Talma, zijne echtgenoote, zonder beroep bij hem inwonende Deze aangifte is geschied in tegenwoordigheid van Wijtse Kroes, oud acht en dertig jaren, van beroep arbeider, wonende te Ferwerd, en van Andries Miedema, oud negen en twintig jaren, van beroep arbeider, wonende te Ferwerd. Hiervan heb ik deze akte opgemaakt, en na voorlezing met den comparant en de getuigen geteekend.


English Translation

20th January 1902, appeared before me, Official of the Burgerlijken Stand of gemeente Ferwerderadeel: Johannes Swart, 24 years old, laborer, living in Ferwerd, who gave notice that 19th January of this year, 7 p.m., Ferwerd, a child has been born of the male gender, to which the name Gerrit will be given; to which child gave birth, Minke Talma, his wife, without occupation, living with him. This notification has been done in the presence of Wijtse Kroes, 38, laborer, living in Ferwerd, and Andries Miedema, 29, laborer, living in Ferwerd. Of this I have drawn up this certificate, and after having read it signed with the appearer and the witnesses.
