Matthew Leeper a citizen of Said County aged 79 -- years Lived a neighbour to Matthew Armstrong at the time he Enlisted for ten months and Captain McKengey well recollects his leaving then as he has stated and Remembers when he released from the Army and believes from the time he was about that he served (unreadable) as he has Stated that he has known the said Armstrong ever Since who resides in his neighbourhood ast the time Sworn to and subscribed in open Court 29 April 1834. Samuel Caldwell aged 75 years was neighbor to Matthew Armstrong in the time of the Revolution ever Since and believes he Served as he has Stated has often heard him Speak of his Service and recollect the time he marched (unreadable) Samuel Caldwell
