Talk Pages of Watched Pages [2 November 2008]

If I have a particular page on my watchlist and someone adds something to the TALK page of that page, will the people on the watchlist be notified?

I.e., I'm watching the page of Person: Mary Russell. So are several other people. I add a question/comment on the Talk page for Mary Russell. Will the people who are watching her page be notified that a change has been added to the Talk page for that person?

Yes, they will be notified of the change either by viewing their watchlist or, if they have it set in their preferences, by email. Whether anyone responds is another story. :) --Ronni 16:42, 2 November 2008 (EST)
