I'm finally back home again, and trying to catch up. Looks like you've been busy. I do have a question, though. If Albertus Huisinga and Lucy Bemolt married in June 1882, shouldn't the father of Peter, Katie and Lizzie Huisinga be Albertus, rather than Peter van den Einde? They were all born after Albertus married Lucy, and more than nine months after Peter van den Einde died.--GayelKnott 00:04, 4 February 2012 (EST)

Well it's not all my work Jennifer Swart found the missing details. I have to investigate those dates, the were called Huisinga's, but in some census they are stepchildren; will be continued --henk 03:33, 4 February 2012 (EST)

Research in the US must be really frustrating after working with the records in The Netherlands. US Census records are notorious for having mis-information, as you never know who provided the information, or how careful they were being. But Peter, Katie and Lizzie would be the step-children of Jantje Knott, which is how they are recorded in 1900.--GayelKnott 18:48, 4 February 2012 (EST)
