- In all the poking around I'm doing, it looks like the John Rogers who married Lucy Iverson is a completely different John Rogers from any who emigrated to Massachusetts. I'm detaching this marriage (John Rogers + Lucy Iverson) from the John Rogers who was son of Mayflower Thomas. jillaine 15:40, 4 April 2009 (EDT)
- I have added the source for the marriage. This source places him as the brother (not son) of a Thomas Rogers, both sons of Thomas Matthew Rogers, and confuses the Thomas Rogers with the Mayflower Thomas. In spite of the confusion over Thomas Rogers, it is possible that John was the son of Thomas Matthew Rogers (as per the source), which is how I have linked him.--DataAnalyst 11:59, 18 January 2014 (UTC)
