They come up as possible merges because Benjamin's birthdate is unknown, and thus both couples are listed as parents.
- They should be merged. The only difference is the question of Benjamin's mother. Both Jones (NEHGR 68:370-375) and Threlfall (Fifty Migration Colonists (259) consider him most likely son of the second wife (Threfall does not even discuss the possiblity that he was son of Phebe). --jaques1724 11:11, 8 October 2011 (EDT)
- I assume this is a misspeak, saying parents "should be merged", but meaning that son Benjamin should not belong to both parents. Because it doesn't look like parents should be merged. Agree with placing Benjamin under second wife because he wasn't named in indenture of the first wife's sister (Ruth Dalton), and so apparently not a child of the first wife. --Jrich 11:54, 8 October 2011 (EDT)
