From Edward Beaverson and Annie Boyles (2): Deleting all references to Annie Boyles [17 April 2014]

Edward Beaverson's wife was Anna (Annie) McCormick, not Annie Boyles. I have finally verified this with the Civil War Pension records which I found on Fold 3. Please give me instructions on deleting all references to Annie Boyles. Some of my edits don't seem to be working. EKDVA--EKBDVA 19:48, 17 April 2014 (UTC)

Hi EKDVA, I just happened to click on this talk page and saw your question. Since you were the only watcher of this page, it's best to leave questions on how to use WR on the Support page, otherwise, it's likely to go unanswered.

To change Boyles to McCormick, you first will edit her Person page Person:Annie Boyles (1) to correct the surname. I see you've already done that step. Next, click the Rename link on that Person page, and this Family page Family:Edward Beaverson and Annie Boyles (2) to edit the surname. When you rename the page, you only need to change the surname - don't include the (1) number on the end, the system will do that automatically. --Jennifer (JBS66) 20:00, 17 April 2014 (UTC)
