    :Acknowledging that he had pledged sums to the children of his second wife, Roger Shaw, yeoman of Hampton, made good on these pledges, including conveying on 6 April 1660 fifteen acres in Hampton and five acres of salt marsh there to Samuel Tilton, "ye son of Susana my late wife now deceased."[41] To her youngest son, Daniel Tilton, Roger Shaw had promised a payment of L10, which his executor, Joseph Shaw, paid to Daniel's guardian, Samuel Tilton.[42]

    ::The twentieth of march one thousand Six Hundred and Sixty I Roger Shaw being yett in the land of the living & in sound memory & Sence: Doe thinke meett to aDe to this my last will as Followeth viz that whereas thear are two of the Children which Have thirteen pound a peese Given them I doe appoint thatt theey shall have butt five apeece: and whereas I have Goven on Child five shillings I doe appoint that itt shall have five pound al which somes are to bee payd within a yeere after my decease & whereas I did bequeath fourteen bushils of indian Corne to my son Benjamen & Six bushils of wheatt I doe now appoint thatt Hee shall Have none: & whereas I did appoint yt benjamin should Sow two acres of yt lott on the other sid of the say the next yeere I doe now appoint that Joseph shall Have the profitt thereof the next yeeere and whereas I did appoint Benjamen to pay his brothr Daniell Tilton twenty five pound when hee Came to age I Doe now appoint Him to pay His Sister May twenty pounds at the time appointed her to pay five pound to his brother Joseph when Daniell Comes to Age & I Doe appoint my son Joseph to pay Abraham & Daniell Tilton their portions according to Convenant when they shall Come to age and to this my last addition I doe sett y Hand & seale the Day & yeere above written.
