Husband & Wife both left Estates

A very unusual case has come into the probate court. Wm Mayfield and his wife Mary E Mayfield of Mulberry grove Township died a few days apart. Both of them left estates of their own and it will therefore be necessary to administer on both estates at the same time. Frank S McCollum has been appointed administrator of both estates, but will have to act separately as to each one. Attorney C.E.Cook of the firm of Cook & Meyer, which has charge of the business for the administrator, stated that this is the first time in his experience that such a thing has happened. (Greenville Advocate 19 Feb 1917)
