--GaleB 09:31, 10 July 2008 (EDT) DNA testing would solve a lot of questions around this family. I would encourage any male descendants of this line to consider it.

No mention of Leah, William's wife, has been found in the GA records, and no reord tells us when William died. According to the Hancock Co., GA census there were at least 2 daughters who still have not been identified. All the other children, in one way or another, have been linked back to Hancock Co. except for Peter. Peter Driskell born about 1805 GA is found in Loundes Co., AL near where Allen settled. They both bought land in the 1830's and they were the only Driskells in the area, but proof that they were brothers has not yet surfaced.
