Children include Adam and Charles, as noted in the will of Charles Dobbs (cited in monograph by Margaret Lane). Children are also said to include Elizabeth and Margaret.

Misc notes: Baptisms for their children have not been found in the records of the New Amsterdam Reformed Dutch Church, though "Willem Dobbz and wife Catharina" witnessed the baptism of Christina Redding on 26 Oct 1709 (parents Jeremiah Redding and Joanna Purcell were prominent people, so the Dobbs seem reasonably well-connected).

entry states: "den 27 May; William Daps, j.m. Van N.Y. met Catharina Stot, Wed. Woont op. G. beer Eylant; den 12 Juny"
(Notes: the first date is the date the banns were published, the second date is the wedding date. "j.m." indicates unmarried man, "Van N.Y." of New York, "met" with. "Wed." means that she is a widow. "Woont op G beer Eylant" means that she lived on "G. beer" island. Might that be Barren Island? The transcription on olivetreegenealogy.com has her surname as Stot, but other references show Slot, which is more likely. Other Slots, but no other Stots, are found in a scan of the olivetreegenealogy baptism transcriptions.)
