Marriage

On 10 Jul 1816 Wesley Dugger obtained a marriage bond in Sumner Co., TN to marry Charlotte Dugger. John Dugger and Leonard Dugger were bondsmen. Leonard Dugger is Wesley's father. John is Wesley's grandfather. Charlotte Dugger was born Charlotte Young, and was first married to Thomas Dugger, son of John Dugger Jr and Frances Sadler. Thomas died in 1815. He and Wesley were 1st cousins once removed.

The marriage took place on 15 Aug 1816 per John Dugger's Revolutionary War Pension File (W 7062).

Children

The 1820 through 1840 census records show that Wesley and Charlotte had several children. I don't know if there is any proof for who they were, but we have a list of probable children. If there is proof for them please list it here.

The probate packet and will of Wesley Dugger documents all the children and another daughter who had died in childhood.
