 Willie always went by Corinne. She hated "Willie". She said her dad wanted a boy so he named her "Willie". Willie married Wayne in Sweetwater, Texas. She had a daughter Christene by a previous marriage. Wayne raised Chrissy as his own. --1Demo 11:53, 27 November 2006 (MST) Wayne had little education but worked hard. He worked as a bookkeeper in the oil fields during the depression. --Demogirl 11:38, 1 December 2006 (MST) They had a premature child in Pecos, Texas. He only weighed 2 pounds. Willie said he was the size of a pound of butter. They had to put him in hot water and then in cold water, over and over again to get him to breathe. He later married Chrissy. --Dallan 11:38, 13 October 2006 (MST) Willie said they had to haul water in big open barrels from miles away in the back of the Model T. Half the water would be gone by the time they got home. They later moved to Andrews, Texas where Wayne become the first mayor.
