Walter's obituary reads, "Services for Walter E. Wagner, 58, of Monroeville will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Rose Catholic Church, Monroeville, the Rev. Donald J. Muldoon officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. There will be a Rosary service at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Marquart Funeral Home, Monroeville. Mr. Wagner, a native of the Monroeville area, died at 1:25 a.m. yesterday in Parkview Hospital where he was admitted Wednesday. He was an employee of General Electric Co. here and a member of St. Rose Church. Survivors include his wife, Mary; his mother, Mrs. Emma Wagner; two sons, Stanley, Fort Wayne, and Joseph, Monroeville; five daughters...Mrs. Russell Johnston, Monroeville...; three brothers, Edgar and Clifton, Monroeville, and Elmer, Decatur; four sisters, Mrs. Luella Brown and Mrs. Gilbert Baker, Monroeville, Mrs. Flossie Daugherty, New Haven, and Mrs. Robert Crabill, Columbia City; and 12 grandchildren. Marge's obituary reads, "MARY M. WAGNER, 84, of Monroeville, died Wednesday at home. The Allen County native was a former employee of General Electric Co., Magnavox Co., U. S. Rubber Co., and Luginbill Wire & Die Co. Her husband, Walter F., died in 1970. Surviving are daughters...Julie M. Schwartz of New Haven, and Helen J. Johnston...; a son, Joseph E. of Monroeville; sisters, Delores Zink or New Haven and Elsie Alter of Fort Wayne; 22 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Rose Catholic Church, with 10:30 a.m. prayer services at Marquart & Jacobs Funeral Home. Calling is from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with a 7 p.m. rosary service Friday. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
