I was surfing the Internet last night and found a message you posted quite some time ago about Jennings Nix of Altoona, Alabama. If you are still needing information, I might could help you just a little bit. I am from the same area and knew that family. Also I was hoping that you could help me, I am trying to help another relative with her research. Her grandmother was Mary Lee Gilliland who married William Buddy Kelsoe in Etowah Co. Ala. on Feb 3, 1943 and later divorced. They had one child, Carl Calvin Kelsoe, it is Carl's daughter who asked me to help her. Mary Lee Gilliland's father�and mother were�Roscoe C. Gilliland and Nellie Nix Gilliland. She had a brother Cecil D. Gilliland who married my sister Novelene Kelsoe also in Etowah Co. Ala in 1943.� Roscoe and Nellie are buried at Mt Carmel First Congresional Methodist Church Cemetery near Snead Ala in Blount Co. Have you run across any of these names in your research?
