"In 1823 Mr. Reed was married to Miss Susan Pierce Kingsbury, of Brattleboro', Vt. She died in 1831, at the age of twenty-seven, leaving three daughters, one of whom survived but a short time."
Source:Reed, John Ludovicus. Reed Genealogy, p. 156, says Timothy married Susan "Kingsley" and has incorrect birthdates for the daughters. Source:Reed, Jacob Whittemore. History of the Reed Family in Europe and America, p. 372 gives his wife's name as "Kinsly" but otherwise appears to have copied from J. L. Reed's book. Find A Grave could easily be misinterpreted as saying his wife's maiden name is Pierce.
