    "Thomas Woodbridge … m. Newbury 4 or 12 June 1672 Mary Jones, daughter of Thomas Jones (in his will of 1 September 1657, Thomas Jones of St. Thomas Parish, Barbados, named wife Ann Jones executrix and made bequests to son John Jones under age, only daughter Mary Jones at marriage, daughter-in-law Ann Wood at 13, and friend Catherine Williams [BarbPR 1:204]; on 26 March 1678, 'whereas John Jones of Newbury died intestate and under age, and there had been produced in this court an authentic copy under the hand of the secretary of the Barbadoes of the will of Thomas Jones, father of said John, in which it was provided that if John Jones should die under age, his estate should revert to the only daughter, now wife of Thomas Woodbridge of Newbury, to whom administration had been granted, said Woodbridge now brought in an inventory and it was allowed' [EQC 6:423-24; EPR 3:193-94; GM 2:2:143; Hoyt 218])."

    Children of Thomas Woodbridge & Mary Jones: Paul b. Feb. 12, 1673; Mary b. Feb. 20, 1675; Thomas b. Jan. 28, 1677; and twins, John & Benjamin, b. Feb. 24, 1679.
