    WILDER, Thomas (1618/19-1667) & Anna [JOHNSON?] / ?Hannah MEARS?/EAMES (-1692); by 1642; Charlestown/Lancaster
[Note: 15 sources are listed, but it is obvious no marriage record has been found to provide a maiden name. The "by 1642" is based on the birth recorded in Charlestown of daughter Mary to Thomas and his wife "Anne" in Charlestown 30 Jun 1642. Identification of Thomas' wife as Hannah Mears presumably comes from will of Robert Meers of Boston, who makes "my beloved Brother James Johnson and Mr. Thomas wilder, Ouerseers of this my last will". But brother is singular so most likely only applies to James Johnson. See Source:The New England Historical and Genealogical Register, p. 17:345, "Abstracts from the Earliest Wills of Suffolk". "Thomas Eames of Dorset and Descendants", a website with source references, does not include a Hannah as a child of Anthony and Margery Pierce. It also states that the wife of Thomas Wilder has been averred to be Anthony's daughter Ann born c1614, but that there is no documentation, and she is thought by some (Torrey, Source:NEHGR 119:23) to be the wife of William Ford. Torrey appears to be doing little besides documenting wild guesses here.]
