Legends of the Skyline Drive and the Great Valley of Virginia, p. 113, which says Thomas King left his second wife "Easter" (Esther) and several children in Ireland (some by first wife, and some by Esther), later sending his son William back to bring them to join him. The date Thomas came over is unknown, but William is known to have come over in 1784, so the marriage must have been before 1784, probably several years before.
