Thomas Joslin and Rebecca Jude married probably soon after a 29 Sep 1613 indenture specified that land of Ralph Josselin, after his death, was to go to "Thomas Josselin one of the sons of me the aforesaid Ralph Josselin the elder, and Rebecca Jude and the longer liver of them, And after the decease of the said Thomas and Rebecca and of the longer liver of them, to the use of the heirs of the bodies of the same Thomas and Rebecca".
[Note: this article reasonably infers a marriage based on a strange indenture executed when both parties were not married. But it should be noted that there is no actual proof of marriage, nor are the parents of Rebecca identified to confirm her maiden name. Nor does the article appear to document the disposal of this property.]
