"Thomas Cakebread settled in Watertown with wife Sarah about 1630-3." This source also reproduces a court document where Ensign John Grout [husband to Mary] identifies Thomas Cakebread as his father-in-law to establish her presence in this family. Mentions a claim that Anna and Mary were sisters,i.e., both belonging to this family, but still says this is as yet unproven.

  3.   Sarah is often mistakenly identified as Sarah Busby. The Source:Ferris, Mary Felton. Dawes - Gates Ancestral Lines source,p. 663, has a detailed explanation refuting this, which is accepted by Source:Anderson, Robert Charles. The Great Migration Begins: Immigrants to New England, 1620-1633.
