  5. 5.0 5.1 Probably the correct marriage date is 11 Sep 1783 based on the births of the children. This would imply the East Haven church record is incorrect, but it seems unlikely a minister would have a child born prior to his marriage. If one tries to adjust daughter Eunicia's birth from Aug 1784 to 1785, then it is only 10 months before the birth of William, which would be unusual following a child that did not die as an infant.
