abstract from will of Samuel Bartee:

Wife: Signa Bartee (use of plant whereon I now live & after her death to son, Isaac Bartee; use of negroes Sary, Easter, Dinah, Nancy & Stepney; remainder of estate; one negro to be sold to pay debts.)

Item: After death of my wife, Signa, the negroes & their increase are to be divided between my three youngest children, Samuel, James & Peggy Bartee. My personal estate is to be divided between my 4 children, Isaac, Samuel, James & Peggy Bartee.
