Salem documents refer to Richard as the "son-in-law" of William Plasse. William was his step-father, and the word could also refer to that relationship, so his wife was not necessarily a Plasse.

Martha was perhaps unm. and in that instrum. ment. as well as her mo. and infirm. br. William. Perhaps Sarah, wh. m. 26 Feb. 1652, Joshua Ray, and Phebe, wh. m. 11 Oct. 1658, Thomas West, may have been his ds.
