Ralph retired from the General Electric Company in Fort Wayne, Indiana, after 36 years.

Ralph and Alice belonged to Plymouth Congregational Church.

Ralph's obituary reads, "Services for Ralph W. Dunlap, 62, of 3722 Manito Blvd., will be at 2 p.m. Friday in D. O. McComb & Sons Funeral Home, Rev. Reuben Stauss officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, Ossian. Mr. Dunlap died at 9:15 p.m. Tuesday in Lutheran Hospital where he had been a patient five days. He was employed 36 years by the General Electric Co., here, retiring in January. He was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church, the G.E. Quarter Century Club, Maumee Lodge 725, F&AM, and the Scottish Rite. Surviving are his wife, Alice; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Jane Brown, Pomona, Calif.; a brother, Forest, Fort Wayne; and three grandchildren. Alice's obituary reads, "ALICE LOUISE DUNLAP, 94, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, April 22, 2005, in Sterling, Colo. She was born to Harry A. and Metta M. King, on July 15, 1910. She married Ralph W. Dunlap, May 10, 1928. She worked for Wolf & Dessauer, as a manager for women's retail clothing until it closed. She then worked for L.S. Ayres and Hunters department stores, until retirement. She was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church in Fort Wayne, since 1939. Survived by two sisters, Alleen Kipfer of Grabill, and Gretchen Moore of Ossian; three grandchildren, Dick Brown of California, Karlene Power and Kenny Brown, both of Colorado; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-granchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Dunlap; daughter, Betty Jane Brown; four brothers, Paul, Robert, Ralph, and Max King; and two sisters, Wand Mahnensmith and Mildred King. Service is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne. Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial at Oaklawn Cemetery in Ossian. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bee Hive, LLC Assisted Living Center, 610 Jay Drive, Sterling, Colo., 80751 or Hospice of the Plains, 1816 U.S. Hwy 6, Sterling, Colo., 80751."
