Notes from Karen Reader:

  • CHILD: Daughter Marie Magdeleine probably born to this couple, although birth record says mother is Anne TERRIOT, not Jeanne [misreading?]. There is a gap in childbearing at the right time, and Anne TERRIOT and the other Pierre LE BLANC could not possibly be the parents, since they had another child at the nearly same time. [Recheck original records.]
  • CHILD: Diocese of Baton Rouge, CATHOLIC CHURCH RECORDS; 1707-1769; Baton Rouge, 1978; p. 85; California State Library Sutro, F377 B3C3 v.1; contains the parish registers from St. Charles-aux-Mines at Grand Pré. Anselme LEBLANC, son of Pierre & Jeanne TERIOT, was born 16 Oct 1740 (SGA-3, 5b). [But this mother would have been too old, really born to her sister Anne & her husband, another Pierre LE BLANC?]
