He married (1) JANE CRAIGHEAD Bet. 1760 - 1765, daughter of ALEXANDER CRAIGHEAD and AGNES BROWN. She was born 1743, and died 1767. He married (2) MARTHA CALDWELL 02 Jun 1770, daughter of JOHN CALDWELL and MARTHA CALHOUN. She was born 1750 in Charlotte County, Virginia, and died May 1802.
