Lingard Davis and Susan Bennett: Family History

Susan Bennett was the daughter of Adam Bennett, who was once enslaved at Magnolia Plantation on the Ashley River, St. Andrews, Charleston, South Carolina. Descendant family oral history states that Susan's first husband was Lingard Davis, and that they had one son named Jerry. S1
