"On March 15, 1900, they moved to Balfour, North Dakota. There were ten children who came with them, four boys and six girls."
"The same spring, in 1900, Mr. Lalka homesteaded one mile west of Butte."
"The Lalka's later moved to a farm 2 1/2 miles southeast of Butte and lived there for many years."
"Konan Lalka passed away in 1939, age 77, and his wife in 1952 at 90 years of age."
Eva (Lalka) Plesuk [1] spoke limited English and did not read or write English. This would have been narrated to someone else who could translate from Ukrainian and write English.
