  2.   Source:Elizabeth (Alden) Pabodie and descendants, p. 119, published in 1897, argues that the town record was copied and the date of the marriage changed from 1761 to 1791, 1761 being the correct year of the marriage. However, this argument was probably based on son Isaac's birth record in 1763 naming mother Antrace, and is simply speculation to explain how that could be so. However, Sarah was named in her father's will of 1764, and her mother's will of 1770 (proved 1776), of which she was named an executor. This indicates that Sarah did not die prior to 1761, and so the marriage date of 1791 is probably correct. It is the name of the mother in the birth record of Isaac that appears to be wrong, an error probably introduced by Mr. Arnold when he compiled the Source:Vital records of Rhode Island - newspapers (1828-1833).
