  4.   It is somewhat interesting to note that, after the prominence of this family in Woburn, there are no Converse births in Woburn for eleven years following the birth of Josiah's son John. And that drought-breaking birth is the first child of the eldest son Josiah. This is soon followed by Samuel's children. In other words, Josiah's family seems to be the sole Converse family in Woburn for about two generations, roughly 1740-1780.
