The twenty-seventh day of July of the year 1812, I, the undersigned pastor of Assumption of Valenzuela, after having read the proclamations and no impediment having been found, married and joined in Matrimony according to the rite of Our Mother Church, Joseph Ambrosio Naquin, native of this parish and legitimate son of JOSEPH NAQUIN and of MARIA JOSEFA ARSEMENT, with Celeste Prechant, native of the Parish of Saint James of Cahaabanoce, and legitimate daughter of Basilio Prechant and of Rosalia St. Julien, all residents of Bayou; of which the witnesses were Antonio Rabosseaux and Estevan Boudreau. In testimony of which I signed on said day, month and year, as above.
