On 19 November 1831 in the mansion house at Brocklesby, Lincolnshire, Joseph William Copley of Sprotborough Hall, Yorkshire, and the Hon. Charlotte Anderson Worsley Pelham of the parish of Brocklesby were married by special licence by the rector, John Parkinson, in the presence of Joseph Copley [groom's father] and Lord Yarborough [bride's father, then Baron and later Earl].[1]
